Do You Have Relevant PRs and Contributions on Your Resume?

If you have meaningful PRs and meaningful contributions, include your get handle on your resume. Even if they're not committing code to it, they're helping the community out. That's a huge plus for me when I see somebody like that. If even if you have incredibly prolific commitment history to open source projects or responding to issues in a super toxic way, I don't care how good you are technically. It might be that first round pass of somebody looking is a recruiter. They'll just see, oh, this person contributed to 11 different open source repos that seem to be really popular. You're hiring managers and your tech screen people will definitely look at that.
