Russell is right when he attributes to epistemology practical consequences for science for ethics and even for politics. Popa agrees with Russell that the idea that somehow you can have the truth that is the same as usefulness are linked with authoritarianism and totalitarianism. He says popurians have a lot of work to do but also his substance is second to none. The structure of scientific revolutions I think is still Thomas Kuhn's most cited work by citation in the social sciences and humanities.
