Gabe Liedman, showrunner and co-creator Dan Gore, Jola Trulio, who plays Charles Boyle, and Terry Crews, who plays Terry Jefferits. The design of Brooklyn Nine-Nine was a reaction to Parks and Rec, both in terms of the things that worked and the things that we had difficulty with. In some ways, it came from the fact that I personally and Mike also have always really loved cop comedies, buddy cop movies, cop TV shows.
