The Importance of Clinical Gestalt in the Treatment of Sepsis
The clinical gestalt of what the patient in front of us needs is probably going to be more powerful than any protocol that we come up with. And I don't know that we're going to get much more guidance beyond, well, what we see based on the data is that giving them a ton of fluid isn't better. Just look at the patient and decide what you think is going to be best for them.
