The Elephant in the Room

In Exodus 3 God tells Moses, I know that the King of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand compels him. The question is did God harden Pharaoh's heart and if so is Pharaoh morally culpable? And that's an important question because according to God himself how he shows us what he's like,. How he introduces us of how we learn his name. Then how you answer that question may be very influential on what you think of the God revealed in the events.
