Is the Dollar Index Breakout a New Uptrend?
The move down on the dollar has paused if not reversed. The question is, has the new trend become a reversal like a new uptrend? Or are we moving into some kind of a horizontal consolidation range where we're going to go up and down within a certain range? I'm leaning toward finding a range here. But when we thought maybe 105.5 was the top of the range, well, it's not that. Maybe it's going to be at least 106.
