Oil Vol Commodity Vol

The US has just kind of imposed a new put, which was the oil put, so to speak. The Fed can still reprice, stimulate, but it just has much less ability to do that. That means treasury vol should come up because there's less control from the dominant entity. But ironically, we've actually seen commodity vol increase in step with those others. And during inflationary periods, gold actually is more volatile than oil.
