The Consultation on the Ban on Cold Calling
It will be against the law to dials call somebody up on the phone and sell them a financial product. But you'll be allowed to go knock on the door to do the same thing. That seems somewhat incongruous to me. It's open to consultation, but the attitude that we need to get rid of it is there. I'd also think there's an argument for doing it on energy as well. Whether are many scams out there. So this is your last chance to apply if it's right for you.
