flip flop solitaire was heavily inspired by spider solitaire, which is a really interesting solitairy variant. For years, one of the things that's really interesting to me is this concept of difficulty and how people associate difficulty with games. And so i was just like, completely enamoured with this small aspect of the game that relates to this big thing that i've been thinking about my whole career. It turns out that actually making you stack up and down is an entirely interesting, weird direction to go with solitair. You'd think that the tiny little twist wouldn't change the game much, but it entirely shifts the game. I figured out how to develop it and push
