Sunken cost fallacy. That thing of, if you're driving somewhere, and it's like a four-hour drive, and two hours in, you realize you don't want to go. So not only do you make yourself drive an extra two or four hours return, but you actually have a worst time anyway. It's obviously not a crime, but it's the same as cognitive process,.
