Is the Fed Going to Cut Rates?

I think the Fed is pretty clear that it wants to try and wash as much inflation out of the system as it can. And I think it's quite prepared to keep rates higher for longer. However, they will be cutting rates because that's what always happens. If you start to get those rate expectations or falls in rate expectations offset by rising term premier, then the whole thing's going to be a wash. You're going to make a lot of money out of government fixed income. But on the other hand, I'm not in the camp that says there'sGoing to be a due recession so I think there may be less need.
