Do You Need NYC LA or NYC Rent to Create?

Nathan: How many people play Minecraft. Ryan talked about how you don't necessarily need NYC LA or to be around other speakers, creators to do great work. It may be more lucrative to live somewhere cheaper so that you can invest more in your art than NYC rent. I feel I have no choice but to be in NYC because I need all the stage time I can get to work through my jokes. That being said, the thought of not comparing myself to other comics any longer needing to keep a day job or pay NYC rent sounds enticing.
