Term Limits Are a Bad Idea
I was for a long time an advocate of congressional term limits, understanding that it would require an amendment. But then somebody pointed out to me that if indeed we did have term limits on senators and representatives, what would very quickly happen is that the power would come to rest with the unelected people. I think voting them out is the right answer. If you think your representative is not representing you effectively vote for the guy on the other ticket.
