Victor was 11 when his father died in the war. His mother got custody of their kids, who were teen agers. She tried to help victor with his poetry. Meanwhile, she worked on her own art, her painting. And Victor was also excellent at that. He left behind something like four thousand art works,. some of which are quite astonishing.
