Yang Shal Burial Culture

The pottery of the yang sha culture is worth talking about. It is notable for its decoration, with many different designs and illustrations used in multiple colours on different colored clays. Very young infants were actually buried in seramic vessels, unlike older children and adults. We also see the prehistoric human tradition of the placement of grave goods. This may be the general way that humans can make sense of the circle of life and their own mortality.
