The Role of the King in the Kingdom of Heaven
One of Matthews intentions, proccipations is to let us know that Jesus is the king and he's establishing the kingdom. Remember, Jesus is the fulfillment of the entire old testament, the people of God. And in that kingdom, there is the role called the al-haba'it, just as there was in the kingdom of Judah.
