Corettum Jay: I think we're at a really interesting moment in history from a private equity industry perspective. The need for value creation has shifted from what I'll sort of broadly call financial engineering. LPs are now looking for durable, repeatable value creation where your rate of return has to be measurable compared to a higher interest rate. On the P firms side, I would say the mistake might be that you're not putting enough emphasis on the value creation side and hiring folks into that team if you didn't already have an excellent value creation team.
