What's Wrong With a Contradiction?
I think it's interesting to try to talk about what actually is wrong with the contradictions. Marxists talk about contradictions a lot. They're obviously bad. Contradictions lead to crises and therefore there's got to be something wrong with that. We notice that now, for example, Nancy Frazier's idea of capitalism, as an institutional social order, it's a crisis critique. It's like there are these contradictions amidst these institutions. They create crises. This is a problem with a deficit of democracy. This is something we can't control. And this undermines our ability to keep certain things afloat.
