There is no reason to assume that when we look at the past that people making permanent journeys were a disproportionately large percentage of people who were on the move. People have very complex journeys that unfortunately, archaeologically are very difficult to trace. But you see that some people actually really consider moving to another place hoping to get a better life, but it's not said that they stay.
