The Role of Education in the Development of Citizenship

I think our schools are enormously important in teaching. They should be teaching the history of democracy, the meaning of democracy,. The obligations and the privileges that come with, with citizenship. We have a right to work with the next, with each new generation to sustain our political establishment. And we shouldn't let private religious schools off the hook because their kids will grow up to vote in our elections.
