The World Building Process for Wushia

The world building process for this book was in many ways an exercise in like how do I take all these disparate things that I really love and make them work together. One of the influences for me is Neil Gaiman because you know he has all this magic stuff going on but the world still feels very kind of contemporary and normal. That was a feel that I wanted to impart in my world.
