With these quasi uprisings spreading, d'artois and his followers laid plans for a huge, coordinated rebellion all across thern france. When word of the plot reached louis vile, he sent back orders to stop the plan uprising, believing it would only make a bad situation worse. In the end, though, the plot was halted, but only because agents of the counter revolutionary emigrees were apprehended in leon with all the written details of the whole conspiracy in their pockets.
