Is There a Class Divide in China?

As an aspirational member of the p m c thought, you know, i'm going to enter this class of people who are reasonable, woare objective. But instead, i found myself in the midst of these struggles where there was so much dishonesty, so much corruption. And for years of my life in academia, no one even wanted to talk about class. I had a drive to understand its significance for myself and for am the american dream, if you like. So that's how i came to this. It sort of, i feel like i can actually say what i fought for academic freedom.
