The Purpose of Mythology

A lot of myths are just there for the entertainment value or they're there to scare your kids, you know, when they're not behaving. I think if you want to talk about the purpose of mythology, one purpose is that humans need to know and humans need to have something that they fear. So imagine right a human race, not in fear of anything. You know, we think we're the strongest or we think there is no enemy for us. That is a terribly dangerous belief.
