The Production Consumption Debate, Right?
There seems to be like an unpostbate, you know, focusing on the land question and focusing on the energy question. I think that there are two different, maybe two different overlapping issues. There is a kind of over-correction against that bourgeois politics of consumption which ignores how consumption can be a really valuable strategic place of struggle. The boycotts against South African apartheid were fundamental in the UK because people boycotted Barclays. It's not environmental, but they're important.
