The Importance of Level Democracy
We should be realistic in what we can aim to influence or achieve within China. The more tense the standoff becomes, the more likely that is to strengthen the forces of repression and hardliners within China. America starts here in terms of a potential new Cold War or maybe an actual one with China. We during the Cold War had an America that was to be very crude and caricatured and do America very pragmatic.
