Introduction

James' reign can sort of be divided into two. Up to 1618 ish, give or take, James has done a pretty good job really. But after 1618 things start going awry and finances begin to get seriously out of whack. A gap appears between the views and policies of the king and those of its people. We will spend some time talking it all through and picking over the bones of Jacoby in England.
