Even as a slave, born into those conditions, he somehow, in america, saw an opportunity. And i'm so curious how that would have developed going forward, had lincoln not ben assassinated. How you describe him sitting in that audience, kind of not knowing if he should get up and stand ausehe's not on the list a speak or anything like that. He stands up and gives this speech. And then from there, he's offered,. e im going to offer you a job here to go around speaking. But it's fascinating, like, what had he not? What would have happened had he not stood up and given that speech?
