I wanted to ask about his language and the German that he uses in his fiction and works like the Metamorphosis or the trial. I really think I was under the impression for a long time that he was like a lowly clerk in Spierakristi as opposed to a doctorate in law at a pretty high level in the insurance institute where he worked. And certainly he found his job or wrote about his job as being very stultifying.
