You're never going to get like detailed nuanced conversations on WhatsApp. It's also very easy to put spin on things when there isn't context in place. I feel quite strongly as a mathematician that it's important that everyone has a good understanding of mathematics. We want leaders to make evidence-based policy, and understanding evidence and science typically requires you to be numerous.
