Professor Brian Campbell was teacher of the year way back in about 2004. He said children who failed to learn to read failed for numerous reasons. We make assumptions or we haven't given an example that children understand and when they don't understand it we're dealing with memory. Why? Because we're not thinking about the child we're thinking about us.
