What Is a Tetrapod?

Tetrapods are best thought of as a special kind of fish. Everything I'm going to talk about saying that makes a tetrapod is a specialized, derived feature of stuff you would otherwise find precursors of in fish anatomy. So the time span between the earliest tetrapods that we have fossil evidence of and today's humans clocks at 360 million years.
