How Do You Grow Skin on a Robot Finger?

Researchers mixed human dermal fibre blasts with cologin to make flexible skin. They submerged a robot finger in this mixture and let it grow for three days. Then they poured the cells that form our epidermis over the first layer of skin. After another two weeks, they had a human like skin covered finger. If you cut it, it could heal itself - but there would be no blood.
