Do We Live in a World of Abundance?

verse 22 is a continuation of the teaching that we read last week on money and stuff, and how life does not consist in an abundance of possessions. Notice how jesus ties worry to money, or, set another way, anxiety to attachments in jesus paradime. And this is such an insight into the human condition. We fret and opsess over and ruminate on whatever it is that is ultimate in our heart's desire. Be that money. Be that our career. Be that what other people thinko be that people pleasing, be that church, whatever, be that jesus. Anything other than jesus can and often is taken away by a global pendemic
