The First Aliquat of a Patient With an Acute Chronic Problem
A 28 year old woman with a history of intermittent asthma presenting for further evaluation of thrombocytopenia. The patient's age is far below average for the typical patient that I see on the patient medicine service, right? And when patients are young, you always want to think about, you know, why is it that they are needing your care, right? But this is a patient with an acute problem.
