Ethereum's First Year APY on E3.5

The expectation right now for the first year APY on e3.5 ish? It's 4.2%. I'm seeing a theorem at all at the moment. But if you aren't staking, you're holding ETH. You are diluting your position by not doing so. The alternative is I can put 5%. I put 5% into a CD right now, like lock up for a year. And that's not bad considering the forward-looking earnings of stocks, for example.
