I want to spend most of this conversation talking about your psychology. What goes through your mind on a typical free solo expedition, one that you don't think is especially difficult? If something isn't cutting edge for me, then it's actually quite relaxing and almost sort of meditative. On truly cutting edge soloing, I often am not experiencing a lot during the climb itself because I'm sort of an autopilot. There are also things that you have access to that nobody else in human history has experienced.
