"I haven't painted in so long, but I started like kind of my my career took a weird trajectory because I started painting on scraps of wood that I would rescue from like dumpsters," says Phoebe Teske. "I had my first ever art show at a flea market, the Fairfax flea market. I sold my first painting." She writes for an LA weekly and was given a free ticket to a Tegan and Sarah concert by chance.
