What Meetings Are and What Should They Be?
What meeting should be is a very targeted events where the right people are in the room. I think anytime you get more than two people together with some sort of objective or goal to achieve collectively, that's what meetings should be about. You can look at your calendar if you want to ballpark what percentage of your total working time is spent in meetings 10 20 90 hundred. What proportion of those are good productive and useful? And we want to explore that that bold hypothesis of what if our businesses, our teams eliminated those meaningless or unproductive meetings, replace with something else.
