Hitchin: A Safe, Slow, Middle Class Town

Hitchin is a very safe, kind of slow, like working class to middle class town. It's on what's called the commuter belt, which is a sort of ring of towns around London. I would be out on my bike at night till sort of seven or eight when I was like 12 years old - and my mom didn't know where I was. Um, but it was, uh, yeah, there was one venue. There was a bunch of pubs and bars and there was people's living rooms for gigs.
