The Importance of Self Reflection
I think evangelicalism broadly speaking has an inability to self reflect. One of the reasons why some like yourself couldn't write this book while still being employed by an evangelical institution is because they just couldn't take the criticism. I've had friends say, you know, I've always been anti Trump, but I couldn't say that out loud because I was afraid of losing my job. And I'm like, wow, that's crazy town.
