I'd strongly advise any young journalists to learn how to analyze their own data and make their own visuals. I run our sunday emal, which is our long form original reporting arm. And it's just one email that comes out on every sunday in your inn box. That's usually two thousand words or so. It combines omitions, visuals, am and usually entails anywhere from six to 15 interviews a week.
