Donnie and Dame - Is That the Way to Go for Rocky?
The only thing I could do was to tell the most truthful story I could about a character and Donas Creed's life. And anchor that in the themes and the DNA of what Rocky was, you know, in that underdog feel. The reason why I think people love these stories is because it's an underdog nature. When you see a heroic character on screen have hardships and overcome the struggles and rise from the ashes into the to the mountaintop, we can do that too.
