Suvaz's Allies, the Hindu Massawa and the Muslim League
Hindu Massawa had very serious differences with Suvaz's party regarding his polity. They tried to bring up an alliance during the particularly during the Calcutta Municipal Corporation elections of 1940. But that alliance didn't work and after the alliance broke off, Suvaz went and allied with the Muslim League. The Muslim League thought that they had got a great catch. And they were very overjoyed with it. Of course, Suv Kaz had a different point of view. He was not in line in sync with the separatists, the Pakistan propaganda. He was absolutely against the communal divide. So looking at this was from a distance, and more objectively was the governor of Bengal
