The Importance of Ideas in Progressive Politics
I like to think of myself as Elton John, but then I would. Maybe that can go on the paperback as a sort of blurb. Sometimes with ideas and optimism, it can feel like a balm when you feel like you're going to hell in a handcar. The intention for the book ultimately is a political one. I want to provide some coherence and inspiration for progressive politics more broadly. It's not aimed specifically at any particular political party. In a sense, part of what is appealing about the ideas are their ability to cut across cultural and also conventional political dividing lines.
