The west has undertaken serious risks and costs to sanction a significant economy. And russia may well retaliate in damaging ways, including through siber attacks. Not many countries are in russia's kind of position with respect to the strength of its armed forces. So if i were another country looking at this, i wouldn't think, hay, anything goes ahum.
