By 1968, the brand new business alone was raking in over a million dollars a year, all tax free. Cinehan had long subsisted on gifts from the community, but as the organization grew, they set their sights higher. By eliminating salaries for its employees, Cinehan's businesses all became highly profitable. But while it is this podcast position that taxes are fucking stupid and should never be paid, Cinedash was making a cardinal sin. Never be a famous thing that does funky shit with taxes.
