The Five Points of the Remonstrance

The five points of the remonstrance are basically what arminius had been saying. They confess that christ died, quoting here, for all men and for every man so that he has obtained for them all redemption and the forgiveness of sins. But no one actually enjoys this forgiveness of sins except the believer. And they didn't really articulate the augustinian pauline or reformed doctrine of god. That's why we talk about the third and fourth heads of doctrine: grace is not irresistible but falls on those who refuse to accept it.
