What Is the Difference Between Valuation and the Dot Com Crash?
In the dot com crash, there were companies with valuations of up to 50 times their sales. Today's valuation levels are much lower but still far higher than they were back then. The difference between now and two years ago is that we have an environment where legacy companies don't fight for survival. We're actually trying to make some money out of these newer companies. I would say it's a little bit different this time around. It's not a sudden sellar of a sudden crash we have currently. It's a kind of salami crash. Oh, you know, many people call it.
