The Importance of Routine

In English, when someone makes a mistake and they're kind of worried about it, but you want to assure them that there's no penalty for their mistake, use the phrase, no harm, no foul. This just means no harm was done, that means no one was hurt, so there is no foul or no penalty. In less severe situations as well, if you're at work and someone made a mistake, but you don't think the mistake was done to purposely hurt you or purposely hurt your company, you can say, well, there was no foul play.
